Description – Aspirational possible project

One of my goals, working collaboratively with agencies that support psychiatric rights is to build a web archive of testimony that would help destigmatize psychiatric disability and also provide a forum for persons with psychiatric disability to establish a voice for themselves that will serve as a counter-weight to the heavily biologized and pathologized discourses advanced by elements in the pharmaceutical industry and the mainstream psychiatric world. In the “About My Teaching” and in the “Human Rights, Social Justice and International Projects” sections of this website further resources on these issues may be found.
