Samantha Barrett

Samantha is a second-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology. Previously, she taught middle and high school English in New York City public schools and earned an MSW from Columbia University, where she worked with children and adolescents in outpatient centers. Samantha’s research interests include parent/child communication, childhood subjectivity, social emotional learning, and child and adolescent mental health.
