Aditi Gupta

Aditi Gupta (they/them) is a first-year doctoral student at the Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University. They received a B.A. in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Art History from Oberlin College in 2017 and an M.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Michigan in 2018, after which they pursued a career in applied biochemistry developing vaccine candidates for SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and other viruses that cause major infectious diseases. Aditi’s interests are in psychoanalysis, social justice, and intergenerational trauma, and they plan to explore intersectionality, sexual and gender minority identity, and systemic oppression in their doctoral research.
