Kendall Greer is a 4th year PhD student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology, Adelphi University. He received his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Connecticut, where he majored in Psychology and minored in Human Development and Family Studies. He received his Master’s degree in Psychology at Southern Connecticut State University. He is interested in the integration of psychodynamic and somatic psychotherapies. His ongoing dissertation research explores advancing the treatment of racial distress, the transmission of intergenerational trauma, and embodied and unresolved psychological distress within Black diasporic communities. He has experience working clinically with adults, youth and families within in-home, school, residential, hospital, university and forensic settings.
