Jack McEnroe is a current second-year doctoral student at the Derner School of Psychology at Adelphi University. He received his B.A. In Psychology with minors in Forensic Science and Cognitive Science from the University of Delaware in 2021. Jack pursued a career in care coordination upon graduating and worked at a local community mental healthcare clinic for 2 years before joining his graduate program. His interests are in psychosis, severe psychic distress,, and mental healthcare systems. In his doctoral research, he plans to explore the operation of mental healthcare systems, their conceptualization of care, and how these systems and conceptualizations are affected by outside pressures from a patient-centered perspective.
