MY BACKGROUND & TRAINING 

I hold a Ph.D. degree in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, and I am licensed as a Psychologist in New York State [License #: 14848]. In addition, I am trained as a psychoanalyst through the Postdoctoral Programs in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at Adelphi University, where I am currently a professor both in Education and in Psychology. I teach psychology to teachers, school psychologists, and clinical psychologists. I have been in private practice on Long Island since 1997. I see both children and adults for psychotherapy.
