Veronica Ozog

Veronica Ozog is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Clinical Psychology at the Derner School of at Adelphi University. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Monmouth University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has worked with marginalized populations including those diagnosed with “schizophrenia” and experiencing psychosis, incarcerated males, and asylum seekers. She is currently working with children and adolescents within the foster care system. Veronica’s (in-progress) dissertation is entitled, “A Qualitative Inquiry into the Psychosocial Experiences of Persons Hospitalized for Severe Psychic Distress” for which she is interviewing individuals currently hospitalized in an inpatient psychiatric facility about their lived experiences.
