Mariam Rahman

Mariam Rahman is a third year Ph.D. candidate in clinical psychology at the Derner School of Psychology, Adelphi University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from City College of New York, CUNY. 

She has worked with marginalized populations including those affected by gender based violence, South Asian immigrants, and children affected by trauma. Mariam has research experience in interpersonal communication and attachment. Her research and clinical interests include trauma within the South Asian diaspora, intergenerational relations, and bridging the gap between mental health resources and underserved communities.
