Justina Kaminskaite Dillon Ph.D.

Justina Justina Kaminskaite Dillon is a doctoral student in the clinical psychology program at the G. F. Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University. She received her BA in psychology from Columbia University and, before coming to Derner, worked at the Cornelia Connelly Center as Director of the Graduate Support Program, providing guidance and socioemotional support to underserved high school girls from low-income families on the Lower East Side. Justina’s research interests include the intergenerational transmission of trauma, with a particular focus on the Lithuanian survivors of the Soviet deportations to Siberia in the 1940s and 1950s.
