Ashley Dhillon

Ashley Dhillon is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Gordon F. Derner School of Psychology, Adelphi University. She completed her undergraduate and masters degree in forensic psychology and forensic mental health counseling at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Previously, Ashley has worked with individuals who have committed sexual offenses. Currently, she provides DBT services to court mandated individuals who are experiencing substance use issues along with personality pathology. Ashley is an extern at SelfWorks Group Practice where she works with patients who come in with a wide range of difficulties and life experience. Her research interests surround within treatment and prevention of sexual abuse/abusers, grooming, trauma, and social justice more broadly.
